The theme of the book is the diplomatic relations between Hungary (later Transylvania) and the Ottoman Empire from the defeat at Moha´cs (1526) till the end of the revolt of Bocskai against the Hapsburg government. This work consists of two parts: I. In the theoretical part the system of appointment was reconstructed.
In the second part Turkish documents with German translations are edited. If it was not possible to find the original Turkish document, it has been replaced by Latin and Hungarian translations.
