Cristina Pecchia (PhD 2003, University of Rome “La Sapienza”) is a philologist working primarily with texts in Sanskrit. She specializes in Indian Buddhist philosophy, with a focus on the religious aspects of the epistemological tradition, and has a strong research interest in the intellectual history of South Asia, with a special emphasis on the history of philology.
