Ofir Haim
is a post-doctoral Fellow at the Mandel Scholion Research Center at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem
Ofir Haim, born 1983 in Petah Tikva (Israel), is a scholar of the social and economic history of pre-modern Iran, with further interests in the religious and cultural history of Iranian Jewry. He pursued his studies in Iranology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, culminating in a PhD which he received in 2020 for his work on Early Judeo-Persian Bible exegesis. Currently, he is in his third year as a postdoctoral fellow at the Mandel Scholion Research Center, after spending a year at Princeton University’s Department of Near Eastern Studies as a Fulbright postdoctoral fellow.
