The revised edition of the works of Sedulius (ca. AD 430), which were highly esteemed during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages, contains a reprint of Johannes Huemer's critical edition of Carmen Paschale and Opus Paschale with their dedicatory letters and hymns, to which, in the edition's appendix, Huemer added poems written in praise of Sedulius and the Excerpta ex Remigii expositione on the Carmen Paschale. The new edition includes additional material: a bibliography, new indices (Index sacrae scripturae locorum, Index fontium and Index imitatorum) and addenda to the text and its sources. Furthermore, variant manuscript readings (in part from the 8th century) that Huemer did not use for his edition have been added in an appendix.
