Nach Corona. Reflexionen für zukünftige Krisen

What lessons can be learned from the coronavirus pandemic for dealing with future crises? This volume offers precise answers. It summarises the results of the “Corona-Aufarbeitungsprozess”, which was initiated by the Austrian federal government in spring 2023. Five social science analyses focus on highly controversial political issues such as compulsory vaccination and school closures. The role of the media, the problem of science skepticism and the organization of science advice in times of crisis are further key topics. Recommendations for future crises were also formulated by citizens as part of Austria-wide dialog events. The comprehensive documentation of this dialog process rounds off the volume.
