This volume is the second of the five volumes of the History of Waṣṣāf (Tārīḫ-i Waṣṣāf). The second part of his chronicle contains the history of the Salghurid atabege of the Province of Fars from its origins until its end with the death of Ābiš (Ibisch) Ḫātūn (685/1286). This is followed by a description of the rule of Arġūn Ḫān (683–690/1284–1291), as well as the history of the atabege of Lor, Yūsufšāh and his son Afrāsiāb I (executed 695/1296).
