This monograph provides a typological and chronological analysis of the ceramic artefacts from the middle Neolithic henge monument of Kamegg and its surrounding settlement.The ceramic artefacts from a total of 14 excavation campaigns are used as a basis to seriate the finds published to date from Phase I of the Maehrisch-Ostoesterreichische Gruppe der Lengyelkultur. The result is a detailed chronology of the early Lengyel culture in Lower Austria and Moravia which makes it possible to reconstruct different settlement phases in Kamegg.
