Volume IX of the series "Die handschriftliche Überlieferung der Werke des heiligen Augustinus" presents a catalogue of the manuscripts kept in Switzerland. Part One (Catalogue of Works) contains not only manuscripts of Augustinian and extensive pseudo-Augustinian works, but also gives detailed lists of the homilies and those texts ascribed to St. Augustine which have been identified as works by other authors; this is the same format chosen for two previous volumes (vol. VII: Czech Republic, Slovak Republic; vol. VIII: Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands) and is aimed at helping to identify new texts, something that is still possible even today, as is demonstrated by the Epistulae Divjak and the Sermones Dolbeau.
Part Two (Catalogue of Libraries) compiles all Augustinian manuscripts (about 630 in number) by location and signature.
