Decameter Radio Emission of the Sun

Decameter Radio Emission of the Sun
1. Auflage, 2024
The electromagnetic spectrum of the Sun comprises quite a range of wavelengths, and part of it takes the solar radio emission. The book contains the decameter radiation of the Sun, in the 10-meter regime observed by the world-largest radio telescopes UTR-2 and URAN-2 in the Ukraine. By up to now unmatched sensibility the most recent radio burst measurements were recorded in so-called dynamic spectra, classified in types of radio bursts, and analysed with regard to plasma dynamics in the solar corona. Thus, this state-of-the-art book comprises a concentrated summary of modern discoveries of the solar radio emission in the frequency range of 8 to 32 MHz, and provides an ideal basis for current radio observations by spacecraft as, e.g., Solar Orbiter.
