Checklisten der Fauna Österreichs, No. 2

The publication is the second volume of the Catalogus Novus Faunae Austriae that has the goal of cataloguing by name all existing animal life in Austria. Each checklist will be provided with brief commentaries, as far as current research allows, especially in those cases in which species or subspecies show an unusual dispersion or a special ecological distinctiveness. In addition, a short history of Austrian research into each animal group will be introduced in order to clearly document current research.
