Martina Werner, born in Munich in 1980, studied German and psychology in Munich. After her PhD in German Linguistics, she worked as a postdoc in Munich, Stuttgart and Vienna. Since her habilitation in 2019 and guest professorships in Munich and Vienna, she has been working at the ACDH-CH at the Austrian Academy of Sciences as head of the FWF Principal Investigator project "Relational Adjectives in the History of German" (P32415-G). Research foci: Language history and variation of German, grammar, language theory.
