is Associate Professor of Mediterranean Studies and Director of the Archaeological Museum of Loyola Marymount University
Caroline Sauvage defended her PHD thesis (Les routes maritimes en Méditerranée orientale au Bronze récent) at Lumière Lyon II University in 2006. She held a postdoctoral position at Berkeley University, was visiting scholar and visiting assistant professor at New York University (Institute for the Study of the Ancient World), visiting scholar at Getty Research Institite, and obtained a Marie Curie scholarship at Copenhagen University (Centre for textile research). Since 2014, Caroline Sauvage has been professor at the Classics and Archaeology department of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
