Kristina Pfeifer

Kristina Pfeifer, born in 1976 in Vienna, studied architecture at the Technical University of Vienna. Since her diploma and then doctoral thesis, she has been an affiliated researcher at the Department of History of Architecture and Building Archaeology, organising lectures and workshops. She participated in publications as specialist in nomadic hair tent architecture introduced by the Humboldt University of Berlin, Weißensee Kunsthochschule Berlin and the Austrian Academy of Sciences. Her field research in Turkey spans from 2003 until now, having developed a deep understanding in crafts, design and daily nomadic life.
