is a Professor at the Institute of English Studies at the University of Graz, Austria
Martin Löschnigg, born 1962, studied English and German Literature and Linguistics at the universities of Graz, Austria, and Aberdeen, UK. He is Professor and the current Head of English in the University of Graz, director of the Graz Centre for Canadian Studies and a Corresponding Member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences. He was a visiting scholar at the Freie Universität Berlin and at Harvard University, and a Visiting Associate Professor of English at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. Research interests: narratology, autobiography, the literature of war and Canadian literature.
