Tsering Drongshar
is Post-Doc Researcher at the Austrian Academy of Sciences
Tsering Drongshar, born in Lhoka, Tibet in 1972, studied Buddhist philosophy, history and literature at Sakya College and Sarah College for Higher Tibetan Studies in Tibet and India. He worked in India as a researcher and teacher. From 2019 to 2020 he worked at the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Documentation of Inner and South Asian Cultural History at the University of Vienna. Since 2017 he has been working at the Institute for Asian Culture and Intellectual History (IKGA) and at the Institute for Social Anthropology (ISA) of the Austrian Academy of Sciences.
