Quantum physicist and former President of the Austrian Academy of Sciences (ÖAW) Anton Zeilinger will be awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics 2022 together with ÖAW member Alain Aspect and John F. Clauser. As the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced today, Zeilinger will receive the world's highest science prize in particular for his groundbreaking work on the quantum physical phenomenon of entanglement.
