Dragan Milanović
is Research Associate at the Institute of Archaeology, Belgrade
Dragan Milanović was born in 1978 in Belgrade. He graduated in 2005 and completed his master studies in 2007 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Belgrade. From 2008–2009 he was Curator for Archaeology at the National Museum of Niš. Since 2010 he is Research Associate at the Institute of Archaeology, Belgrade, working on the research project “Archaeology of Serbia” concerning cultural identity, integration factors, technological processes and the role of the Central Balkans in the development of European prehistory. He completed his doctoral studies at the same college in 2017 on the subject "The Central Balkans in the fifth millennium BC: settlement patterns and socio-economic changes". Research priorities: the later prehistory of the Balkans and the Carpatian basin (5th–3rd mill. BC), settlement patterns, artifact distributions, ceramic styles and technology, copper metallurgy, society and economy.
