This fascicle contains 656 entries, namely 656 individuals with 458 names. The very detailed Introduction has 20 pages and the exhaustive indexes cover 30 pages. The chronological framework is from c. 650 to 5 B.C. The material is predominantly Achaemenid, when Babylonia was under Persian rule. The bearers of the names were not only Persians, but also Medes, Scythians, Elamites etc.
