With the current volume, the archaeological journal of the Federal Monuments Authority Austria presents itself in a completely new layout. In addition to the annual review of the Department of Archaeology, the book contains two essays on the topics "Pilot project for the use of site IDs of the Federal Monuments Office as a 'gazetteer' for museum archaeological inventories" and "Ten years of reorientation of the finds reports from Austria - balance and outlook" and two conference reports. It also contains seven more extensive articles and numerous reports on the archaeological measures, find reports, building history investigations and coin finds of 2021. The e-book version includes several additional articles as well as the partly extensive long versions of the archaeological and building history reports.
