The catalogue records 156 manuscripts produced in medieval universities, now preserved in Austrian monastic and public libraries. Three manuscripts, containing respectively the Rationale divinorum officiorum by William Durant, the Speculum iudiciale by the same, and the Super Physicam by Aegidius of Rome, present codicological and paleographical characteristics which are typical of exemplaria. In particular, the Speculum comes from the workshop of the famous stationer, Arditio (†1289). The other manuscripts, which bear indications of pecia, were produced in Italian and French universities between the 13th and 14th centuries.
