The revised edition of Sedulius` Opera (ca. 430), which were highly estimated during Late Antiquity and the Middleages, contains a reprint of Johannes Huemer`s edition of Carmen Paschale and Opus Paschale with their dedicatory letters and hymns (in the Appendix, Huemer added poems written in praise of Sedulius and the Excerpta ex Remigii expositione in Paschale Carmen) with additional material: at the end of the book there are a bibliography, new Indices (Index sacrae scripturae locorum, Index fontium and Index imitatorum) and Addenda to the text and its sources. Furthermore variae lectiones of manuscripts (partly of the 8th century), which Huemer did not use for his edition, have been added in an appendix. more...
